The Koala Kare KB110-SSRE Horizontal Baby Changing Station is a recess-mounted stainless steel diapering area for use in commercial restrooms. With its 18-gauge, type-304, satin-finished stainless steel door, the unit is a sleek alternative to the entirely plastic models made my Koala Kare, while still offering the same level of comfort and convenience as the traditional models. For installation, the unit requires a rough opening that measures 35-1/2 inches in width by 20-1/2 inches in height by 4-1/4 inches in depth. The interior of the unit is made of durable polyethylene in slate gray. The surface is treated with the Microban antibacterial additive, which is FDA-approved for preventing the colonization of bacteria on hard plastic surfaces. Steel-on-steel hinges and 11-gauge stainless steel mounting brackets give the changing station extra strength. The model offers a built-in sanitary liner dispenser and hooks for diaper bags for the convenience of users. A universal graphic and usage instructions in six languages are provided on the unit.
